BEING A YOUNG MODERN MAN IN 2019

BEING A YOUNG

MODERN MAN IN 2019

More men are MANING the kitchen, this is one of the characteristics bound to pop up on the white board when marking down the new found qualities of today’s young modern man.

Young males are learning and finding out at own pace with individual moments of true enlightenment that the realities, acts and expectations of being a “MAN”  have become blurred between what has  been carried down from the past as what this should be, while the current era is also hand on pen rewriting this.
Today's MEN are urged to learn how to voice deepest fears and face the dog instead of continuing the self detrimental tradition of caging the beast within. New habits, ideas and positions regarding various topics that may have been dismissed by senior men today,  during  their era of male youth are now being adopted as new norms.
Below are positions  challenging the other and statements on various topics that have sprung up during conversations with peers, surly you have heard similar in your circles.
-
“I'm too broke to be in a relationship”
-
“As men we need to stop comparing ourselves to other men”
-
“we should be building towards owning the basics”   +  “I'd rather be renting, while working in different cities around the world”
-
“I don’t mind if she earns more than me”  +  “Are you sure about that?!’’
-
“There’s so much we have to unlearn”
-
“Did you buy that for you, or them ?”
-
“I don’t think I've given anyone the opportunity to understand me better”
-
“A man should own a car”  +  “It comes with too many costs, Uber! Uber Black if I must”
-
“My uncles told me growing up, that men don't cry”
-
“Problem is as gents we don't talk about the real issues”
-
“Examples of what not to become are so near while what I aspired to emulate is so far and few”
-
“so you actually went for a facial?”
-
“Most times its just your ego that has you setting yourself up”
-
“I fear mismanaging my finances”
-
This journal post has no end as the conversations above are no different to ordering the bottomless option of coffee at a restaurant…

HOW TO WEAR

YOUR CAB BEANIE

-

The tartan patch with MAMAGASEHOME script logo embroidery should always be on the preferred left or right side of your head, however, keep in mind to not have the patch all the way parallel. A good part of the patch should be visible form the front, someone facing you head-on should be able to appreciate the detail. A good way of measuring if you have just enough of it showing for front view, is if the those facing you can just about start to read the script logo embroidery.

Lastly remember to tilt the bean slightly, with the on one side touching  your ear and on the other side not, from the front the, beanie should just about be touching the eyebrow to the side where the beanie is touching your ear.
